About your captain...

On vacation you want quiet, fun, excitement, and to know you are safe at sea. We have provided all and more with the best licensed charter captain sailing the BVI. Halford Barzey was born and raised in Tortola, one of the most beautiful and exclusive islands in the BVI. Captain Halford has been sailing the Virgin Islands since he was a child. He has trained on and has years of experience sailing the Lagoon 440 around the Virgin Islands and looks forward to showing you all the places he loves.

From the best snorkeling in the world to the quietest and most private beaches, elegant restaurants, to the best little bar and crab shack on the beach you will see and experience it all. Captain “Hal” knows how keep your vacation a vacation. So we want you to know your boat will be provided for at all times, from cleaning the boat inside and out, boat operation, charts and navigation, maintenance, trash, knowing where to locate the best shopping, fishing, eating and everything else, know that captain Hal is on the job.

You are responsible for provisions (food and drinks) for your group and the captain, fuel, water, ice, local permits for customs, dockage, mooring buoy. Around $30 per person per day is a good estimate of how much you will spend on food, drink and ice, fuel is approximately $100-200 per week. Local permits are about $5 per person per day total.

Charters are for a minimum of 7 nights, from Noon until Noon and usually start weekend to weekend depending on the vessels availability. Our catamaran can meet you in St. Thomas, St. John’s or Tortola with our captain greeting you and your group at the dock.
